Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the NeMo Core Platform (Finance) to help design and build an open source plugin-based AI execution framework. You will lead architectural efforts, mentor teammates, and own core platform APIs for scalable agent execution across environments.

Qualifications

• BS, MS, or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience building production systems.
• Experience with distributed systems, cloud-native services, containers, Kubernetes, and job orchestration.
• Excellent Python engineering skills including API design, typing, testing, debugging, performance analysis, and maintainable software design.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing an Agentic Execution system that works across environments (local, Kubernetes, Slurm, on prem).
• Providing senior technical leadership through design reviews, code reviews, and mentoring.
• Building and maintaining Core Platform APIs for running jobs, data storage, entities, secrets, RBAC and authentication.
• Extending a flexible plugin architecture to allow external teams to install new capabilities.
• Shipping high-quality code with a focus on reliability, observability, and performance.
