Job summary

TD SYNNEX is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to build and operate a multi‑cloud infrastructure platform used by development teams. You will spend substantial time coding Terraform, Ansible, and Python, while automating deployment and configurations across Azure and AWS.

The role emphasizes hands‑on delivery, reliability, and collaboration with architects, engineers, and product owners. You will work in a fast‑paced platform team focused on cloud, AI services, and automated operations,

Qualifications

• Azure: strong hands‑on experience (required).
• AWS: working hands‑on experience (good to have).
• GCP: working hands‑on experience (a plus).
• Linux administration: solid experience with RHEL, Debian, and Ubuntu (a plus).
• Windows hosts: comfortable managing them through automation.
• AI services: provisioning, scaling, and supporting cognitive services.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain: Implement multi‑cloud infrastructure (primarily Azure, with AWS where applicable) following established platform patterns and standards.
• Infrastructure as Code: Write, maintain, and refactor Terraform modules; contribute to shared module library.
• Configuration automation: Develop Ansible playbooks, roles, and collections for OS configuration and zero‑downtime deployments.
• Operate AI‑ready services: Provision and operate cognitive service environments (Azure AI Foundry, AWS Bedrock).
• CI/CD delivery: Build and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines for infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
• Day‑2 operations: Troubleshoot, patch, harden, and monitor platform components.
• Collaboration: Work with Architects, Developers, and Operations to turn requirements into code.
