Job summary

Dormont Manufacturing Co is seeking a Senior Engineer to join the Infrastructure and Platform Engineering team in the Reston area. The role focuses on building, scaling, observing and maintaining a Kubernetes-based platform, enabling engineering teams to deliver quickly and reliably.

Candidates should have a strong background in automation, IaC (Terraform), CI/CD (Argo CD), and cloud experience (AWS). A TS/SCI clearance is preferred for some projects, with on-site حضور in DMV area.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience with large-scale cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and software development engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency with Terraform and Argo CD in production environments.
• Strong analytical and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize the Kubernetes platform and infrastructure automation.
• Build, maintain, and secure core platform components for high availability and scalability.
• Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployments using Terraform and Argo CD.
• Provide proactive troubleshooting and collaborate with cross-location teams.
