Job summary

BAE Systems OneArc USA, Inc is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer with strong Linux and Windows background to design, build, and maintain core infrastructure and tooling that enable development teams to build, deploy, and operate products efficiently.

The role focuses on scalable architectures, hybrid Kubernetes, VMware Cloud Foundation, Dell infrastructure automation, and cloud-native solutions on AWS, with emphasis on automation, security, and observability.”

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of Linux and Windows System Administration experience.
• Experience in DevOps or Platform Engineering roles (3+ years).
• Proficiency with IaC and automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead design/implementation of scalable, secure platform components on mixed OS.
• Manage hybrid Kubernetes environment (cloud + on-prem).
• Design and manage private cloud via VMware Cloud Foundation.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Establish monitoring, logging, and observability practices.
