You will own complex customer-facing challenges, design scalable solutions, mentor engineers, and influence product direction based on real-world needs.

This role demands hands-on backend and frontend work and close collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering with production systems at scale.
• Strong backend experience in Java, Python, Scala, or similar.
• Proven ability to handle enterprise escalations and complex issues.
• Deep knowledge of APIs, data pipelines, and microservices.
• Ability to operate in ambiguous environments with competing priorities.
• Experience mentoring engineers and guiding technical direction.
• Hands-on frontend experience with React or Angular.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end design and implementation of cross-cutting features across services.
• Drive reliability, performance, and maintainability through architecture decisions.
• Collaborate with Product, Platform Eng., and AI teams to deliver outcomes.
• Act as primary escalation point for enterprise customer issues.
• Lead design and code reviews; establish observability and incident response practices.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering excellence.
