Job summary

IPSY is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Digital Experience team. You will design, build, and support modern platform solutions using Next.js, TypeScript, and React Native, collaborating with Infrastructure, SRE, and security teams.

The role is fully remote and can be performed from any of the 16 U.S. states where IPSY has a business presence. You will contribute to AI enablement, observability, and analytics initiatives while driving performance at scale.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience developing platform or full-stack apps in JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with Kong API Gateway, including LUA scripting.
• Designing and maintaining shared libraries or internal platform components.
• Experience with AWS and CI/CD (Jenkins) and deployments on Netlify or Vercel.
• Familiarity with observability/monitoring (Datadog) and product analytics (Statsig/Amplitude).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain shared components and services using Next.js/TypeScript for Frontend teams.
• Oversee Kong API Gateway services and cloud deployments across AWS, Netlify, and Jenkins.
• Build and support the mobile app ecosystem (React Native) for reliability.
• Improve monitoring/observability with Datadog and ensure operational visibility.
• Develop analytics/experiment platforms (Statsig/Amplitude) for data-informed decisions.
• Drive performance improvements across platform services and surfaces.
• Contribute to AI enablement tooling for safe AI capabilities.
