InterSystems in Boston is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer for the Tool and Application Development team within Platform Engineering. You will build and modernize internal applications and tools that support the SDLC and boost engineering productivity.

You will work as a full-stack developer with a DevOps mindset, tackling modernization, automation, and cross-team collaboration to scale our development infrastructure and improve developer experience.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development, platform engineering, or DevOps.
• Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript/Node.js, ObjectScript, or Go.
• Solid SQL and relational database experience.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tooling (GitLab CI, Kubernetes, Ansible).
• Security-focused with OAuth2 and secure authentication/authorization knowledge.
• Ability to learn rapidly, collaborate across teams, and mentor others.

Aufgaben

• Design, implement, and maintain internal web apps and services for engineering workflows.
• Modernize legacy tools with scalable, maintainable technologies.
• Integrate diverse tech stack (ObjectScript, OAuth2, Python, Node.js, SQL, containers).
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI.
• Implement observability with Prometheus and Grafana.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and other platform teams.
• Write clean code and contribute to reviews and documentation.
