Job summary
Honeywell is seeking a skilled software engineer for our Cloud Solutions group in Pittsford, NY or Atlanta, GA. You will build internal platforms, developer tooling, CI/CD systems, automation frameworks, and engineering workflows to help product teams deliver software faster and more reliably.
The ideal candidate has 6+ years in software engineering, strong automation background, and experience with CI/CD pipelines, microservices, and Azure.
Qualifications
- BS Degree in Computer Science, IT or related field; significant experience may substitute.
- 6+ years of software engineering experience.
- 3+ years building automated delivery pipelines.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and event-driven/microservices architectures.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar.
Responsibilities
- Lead initiatives to improve developer productivity and deployment reliability.
- Develop tools to enhance the full development process from design to production.
- Measure and improve engineering productivity and satisfaction.
- Design, build, and evolve CI/CD platforms leveraging Jenkins, Kubernetes, and cloud-native technologies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve deployment issues across environments.
