Job summary

Applied Intuition, Inc. is seeking a senior software engineer to design and maintain a large-scale cloud hosted Workbench platform. You will own backend services, drive reliability, and lead architectural efforts for scalable infrastructure in a distributed cloud environment.

You will collaborate with infrastructure, virtualization, and tooling teams to deliver cross-functional features and improve developer workflows, with security and production-grade stability in focus.

Qualifications

• Must have at least a Bachelor's degree in CS, Math, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in software engineering at a tech company.
• Experience building large-scale infrastructure applications and scalable solutions.
• Familiarity with relational databases and SQL.
• Proficient with Git, Vim, HTML, CSS, Java, and JavaScript.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end design, development and maintenance of a large-scale cloud hosted platform.
• Own and maintain backend systems for the Workbench platform, including core services for reliability and uptime.
• Design and implement scalable infrastructure to support high throughput workloads and reduce latency.
• Develop and improve platform infrastructure and lead architectural design efforts.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, virtualization, and tooling teams to integrate cross-functional requirements.
• Contribute to full stack development of customer-facing features and developer workflows.
• Participate in system hardening and production-grade reliability and safety.
