Job summary

Oracle is seeking a Software Engineer 4 for the Health Data Intelligence (HDI) team to design and build next-generation cloud-native platforms and distributed systems powering healthcare analytics. You will create highly available services, automation frameworks, and AI-powered tooling across Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and multi-cloud environments.

A US government security clearance may be required after hire.

Qualifications

US citizenship is required and ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
10+ years of software engineering experience building large-scale distributed systems.
Experience delivering cloud-native services and multi-cloud environments.
Proficiency in Java, Python, or Go.
Experience with Kubernetes and container technologies.
Experience with AI-native engineering and GenAI integrations.
Experience designing APIs and AI-enabled services.
Familiarity with observability and reliability tooling.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain cloud-native platforms and distributed systems for healthcare analytics.
Develop AI-powered automation, operational tooling, and self-service infrastructure.
Contribute to platform reliability, observability, and performance engineering.
Collaborate across product, platform, data, and reliability teams to scale systems.
