Arena PLM, a PTC business unit, is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer (Platform) for a hybrid role in San Mateo, CA. You will design and implement robust backend solutions, document technical designs, and build features for the SaaS Arena PLM platform.

Ideal candidates excel in Java, Scala, and Python, with experience in Kubernetes, Spring frameworks, and cloud-based SaaS. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential in this fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Backend Development: Design and implement robust backend solutions using Java, Scala, and Python.
• Documentation & Design: Document project requirements and technical design specifications.
• Tool Development & Maintenance: Develop and maintain tools to improve platform reliability and developer productivity.
• Feature Development: Build and deliver features for the Arena PLM SaaS application.
• Innovation Initiatives: Participate in initiatives that push PLM technology boundaries.
• Technical Collaboration and Leadership: Lead code reviews and knowledge sharing to elevate team capabilities.
• Design complicated features end-to-end.
• Lead feature teams to deliver on time with high quality.
