Job summary

FEDITC, LLC. is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer/Architect to deliver advanced platform engineering, Tier 3 support, and modernization for the DFAS CCE. The role emphasizes implementing enterprise tech, resolving complex issues, and creating technical designs for reliable infrastructure operations.

Active Secret clearance and US citizenship are required. You will work with government teams, develop cost analyses, and ensure secure, scalable infrastructure across the environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years enterprise systems engineering experience.
• Security+ certification demonstrating baseline security knowledge.
• Experience with enterprise virtualization platforms.
• Proficiency in MECM, SCOM, and Microsoft System Center suite.
• Experience with Directory Services (Active Directory).
• Knowledge of Microsoft and Linux server administration.
• Experience developing technical documentation and design specifications.
• Familiarity with DoD change control processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior platform engineering support for DFAS CCE infrastructure.
• Process CCE priority Tier 3 DFASNow support tickets.
• Support implementation of new hardware and software into DFAS CCE.
• Take actions required to properly test, configure, and install new technologies.
• Ensure no conflicts when implementing new technologies.
• Develop briefings, studies, project estimates, and cost benefit analyses.
• Support CCE infrastructure monitoring and service delivery.
• Coordinate with government team members on coverage and workload balance.
