Job summary

Farsight AI in New York seeks a Platform Engineer to design, deploy, and manage infrastructure for our generative AI products used by financial institutions. You will build scalable cloud infrastructure, optimize CI/CD, and implement infrastructure-as-code with AWS CDK and CloudFormation.

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or related fields.
• Experience with AWS services (ECS, EC2, Lambda, S3, CloudFront, CloudWatch, RDS, IAM, SSM).
• Proven expertise in containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, gRPC).
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
• Ability to collaborate with developers to align infra with product requirements.

Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure for AI workloads at scale.
• Streamline and optimize CI/CD platform for rapid deployments.
• Design and maintain infrastructure-as-code (AWS CDK, CloudFormation).
• Develop monitoring, logging, and observability for high availability.
• Ensure infrastructure security and compliance.
• Manage large-scale microservice architectures and communications.
• Identify and implement efficiency, cost, and performance improvements.
