Job summary

HP IQ is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to build and evolve the infrastructure, tooling, and shared platform capabilities across cloud and edge environments. You will work with application, services, AI/ML, and security teams to improve velocity, reliability, and operational efficiency.

Design, implement, and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code, deployment workflows, and automated provisioning while partnering with teams on production readiness and observability to support scalable services.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Platform/SRE/Production/Infrastructure engineering.
• Experience with cloud, on-prem, or edge environments.
• Experience with containers, Kubernetes, networking, and distributed systems.
• Experience with IaC and deployment automation.
• Experience with CI/CD and modern observability practices.
• Strong software development and automation skills, preferably in Python.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain shared infrastructure and platform capabilities across cloud and edge environments.
• Build automation and self-service tooling to improve engineering velocity.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code, deployment workflows, and provisioning.
• Partner with engineering teams on production readiness including reliability and security.
• Improve monitoring, alerting, incident response, and operational tooling across distributed environments.
• Automate repetitive operational tasks and reduce infrastructure complexity.
• Contribute to platform architecture, standards, and roadmaps.
• Participate in on-call rotations for systems owned by the team.
