Job summary

Slope is seeking a Developer Platform Engineer in San Francisco to own and enhance their internal developer platform. The successful candidate will manage tooling and workflows that streamline the development process across the engineering team.

Required qualifications include 5+ years in building developer platforms, deep knowledge of AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform, along with a comfort in creating self-service systems. This role requires a commitment to working onsite in the San Francisco office five days a week.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building internal developer platforms or developer-experience tooling.
• Deep hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and GitOps-based delivery.
• Experience provisioning and managing developer environments.
• Comfort building self-service systems for ease of use.
• Ability to ramp quickly and move fast.

Responsibilities

• Build out Monaco's internal developer platform and tooling.
• Extend functionality to both local and cloud-hosted development environments.
• Own cloud-hosted development environment orchestration.
• Manage internal AI-assisted engineering automation.
• Ensure realistic data propagation for development and QA environments.
• Collaborate with product teams to enhance the development lifecycle.
