Job summary

Archy is seeking a Senior Platform Software Engineer to advance cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for our SaaS dental practice management platform. You will work with a Java Spring Boot backend to build scalable systems and partner with engineers to ensure reliability and security at scale.

You will lead infrastructure automation, adopt AI tools to speed up workflows, and participate in architecture reviews while emphasising observability and developer productivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of experience as a Platform, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineer.
• Experience with cloud providers (AWS/GCP/Azure) and container orchestration (Kubernetes/Docker).
• Leverages AI tools and automation in everyday work to move faster, improve outcomes, and raise the bar on operations.
• Deep focus on stability, performance, and security for a rock-solid platform.
• Customer-centric mindset with strong collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines from inception to deployment.
• Deeply knowledge of backend stack (Java Spring Boot) and optimize reliability and deployment workflows.
• Adopt and integrate AI tools to enhance productivity and decision-making.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and monitoring with rigorous testing and documentation.
• Participate in code and architecture reviews to drive continuous improvement.
• Identify opportunities to improve developer productivity and system observability.
• Estimate and plan infrastructure development efforts for timely delivery.
