Job summary

Archy, a Series B vertical SaaS company for dental practice management, seeks a Senior Backend Software Engineer to strengthen our Java Spring Boot backend and deliver reliable, scalable systems that empower dental professionals.

You will own end-to-end delivery, mentor peers, and collaborate with frontend and product teams to embed AI capabilities into the Archy platform while maintaining high code quality and production stability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• 6+ years of backend engineering experience with clean, high-quality code.
• Experience with Java Spring Boot and scalable systems.
• Ability to own releases of high-traffic features and migrations.
• Strong testing, performance, and reliability focus.
• Customer-centric mindset and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of major product updates and releases.
• Leverage AI tools (Claude) to boost velocity while maintaining architectural integrity.
• Collaborate with product teams to integrate AI features.
• Coordinate with Frontend to ensure smooth JS/TypeScript integration.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor teammates.
• Identify and implement team efficiency improvements.
• Estimate and plan development efforts for timely delivery.
