Job summary
Oracle seeks a Senior Platform Software Engineer to design AI-powered developer tools and scalable platform services in the United States. You will own significant components from design through production, collaborating with AI/ML and OCI service teams to turn experiments into reliable developer experiences.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of software engineering experience designing, building, and operating production software systems.
- Experience with distributed systems, cloud services, platform services, or large-scale backend systems.
- Experience with LLMs, generative AI, AI agents, or related AI technologies.
- Ability to experiment and learn in rapidly evolving technical areas.
- BS or MS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Responsibilities
- Design and build AI-powered developer tools and platform capabilities.
- Experiment with emerging AI technologies by building prototypes and evaluating ideas.
- Develop production services integrating LLMs, AI agents, context and retrieval systems.
- Own components through the complete engineering lifecycle with design and deployment.
- Collaborate with AI/ML, product, and OCI service teams to deliver end-to-end experiences.
- Contribute to architecture discussions, reviews, and knowledge sharing.
