Job summary

The University of California - Davis invites applications for a Lead Platform Developer to serve as a senior technical lead for the GradSphere platform, UC Davis' enterprise-grade solution built on the Appian platform. You will lead development, design, testing, and deployment of automation workflows and integrations, collaborating across teams.

Responsibilities include full lifecycle development, platform maintenance, secure coding practices, and contributing to the product roadmap with a focus

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in related field and/or equivalent experience/training.
7+ years of professional experience in a low-code platform (Appian).
Knowledge of web application design and development frameworks (e.g., JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS).
Experience using low-code platforms to create interfaces and workflows to support business requirements.
Experience in data modeling, RESTful APIs, SQL, JSON; DevOps practices including testing, monitoring, deployment.

Responsibilities

Lead Platform Development, design and support for GradSphere on Appian.
Oversee platform operations and security.
Contribute to technical strategy, systems analysis, and leadership.
