Job summary

ContractStaffingRecruiters.com is seeking a Platform Cloud Engineer, a senior technical leadership role responsible for integrating and delivering production-grade AI, ML, and data capabilities in cloud environments.

The role combines hands-on software engineering with system-level design, leading end-to-end development of scalable, cloud-based solutions leveraging LLMs, MLOps, and automation. You will mentor engineers and promote engineering best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 12+ years of experience, or advanced degree with 10+ years.
• Kubernetes/K8s experience and Terraform.
• 5+ years experience with data science and machine learning.
• 5+ years experience with the software development life cycle and software product development, including Python and the Python stack.
• Proficiency in Python and the Python scientific stack.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with leadership, product, program, and business stakeholders to support the team delivering advanced data capabilities.
• Serve as system integrator for APIs, SDKs, and automation: production AI/ML capabilities through cloud engineering.
• Maintain high-level and low-level views of technical systems and coordinate with cross-disciplinary teams.
• Design, write, test, and deploy production-quality, automated, scalable software.
• Mentor early and mid-career team members and promote best practices.
