Rippling is seeking a Platform Engineer to own the design and implementation of core backend services and APIs. You will build for high-volume scale, reliability, and security, working with product, frontend, and platform teams to translate feature goals into robust, high-performance solutions.

You will mentor engineers on backend best practices and raise technical standards across the platform team, aligning with Rippling's mission to power HR, IT, and Finance in one unified system.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production experience in backend development with Python or Go.
• Deep expertise in distributed systems architecture and relational databases.
• Strong CS fundamentals and experience delivering complex projects.
• Excellent communication with technical and cross-functional stakeholders.
