Accenture is seeking a Technical Architect to lead the architecture and technical direction for enterprise-scale software and platform solutions. This role governs end-to-end solution architectures and advises across multiple teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities include defining target-state architectures, leading build/buy/reuse decisions, and mentoring engineers. The position is hybrid, requiring in-office presence several days weekly across multiple U.S. hiring locations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering with architecture ownership and cross-team influence.
• 3+ years designing enterprise-scale software or platform solutions as a Technical Architect; strong patterns.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience; associates if applicable with 6+ years.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive end-to-end architecture for enterprise software platforms, shared services, and applications.
• Define target-state and transition architectures, including system decomposition, integration patterns, and data flows.
• Lead architecture decisions (build/buy/reuse) and articulate trade-offs, risks, and dependencies.
• Act as a technology advisor to business and technical stakeholders, translating business objectives into pragmatic solutions.
• Facilitate architecture workshops, design reviews, and technical discussions to drive alignment.
• Establish and enforce architecture standards and governance, including security, scalability, performance, resilience, and operability.
• Partner with engineering, DevOps, and operations teams to ensure solutions are production-ready.
• Identify and mitigate cross-team dependencies and architectural risks.
• Mentor senior engineers and junior architects; promote best practices and engineering excellence.
