Job summary

Clarity Innovations is seeking a security‑cleared software engineer to help prototype infrastructure for cyber network operations. You will architect scalable systems across cloud and on‑prem, implement GitOps workflows, and design declarative interfaces to bridge development and operations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline; four years of hands‑on software experience acceptable.
US TS/SCI security clearance required.
Ability to collaborate in a team yet execute independently.
Experience with Python or GoLang in production environments.
Familiar with Kubernetes deployment strategies, cluster lifecycle, and container orchestration.
Experience with modern DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD, IaC, GitOps) in production workflows.
Proficient in containerization (Docker/Podman).
Familiar with CNCF tools like Crossplane and Backstage.

Responsibilities

Lead prototyping efforts to validate design concepts and technologies across projects.
Prepare thorough design documents for new initiatives and communicate concepts clearly.
Develop robust software aligned with product vision and deliver working solutions on schedule.
Integrate automated testing into the codebase to ensure quality.
