Job summary

DocSpera seeks a Senior Platform Engineer to work directly with the CTO to shape the architecture and technical direction of our growing platform. This hands-on role focuses on system architecture, backend design, and technical documentation to guide evolution toward a modular, scalable platform.

You will assess existing systems, define future-state architecture, and help implement a roadmap that improves reliability, scalability, and deployment efficiency while aligning with product goals.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience across platform, backend, or distributed systems.
• Strong system architecture and design skills to evolve existing systems.
• Hands-on AWS and cloud-native experience, with familiarity of AWS Well-Architected Framework.
• Experience designing APIs and reusable platform components.
• Excellent technical documentation and clear communication of architectural decisions.
• Proven track record delivering production-ready systems.
• Collaborative problem-solving and engineering best practices.

Responsibilities

• Define platform architecture and design a scalable, modular system.
• Drive system design with standards, patterns, API contracts, and integration approaches.
• Document the technical vision with diagrams, design specifications, and roadmaps.
• Build and implement production-ready solutions with the CTO and engineering team.
• Improve cloud infrastructure applying AWS best practices.
• Collaborate across teams to improve interoperability and development practices.
