Job summary

SentiLink is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to build and enhance an API platform powering our identity and risk solutions. You’ll collaborate with product, security, and engineering to deliver scalable, secure features in a fast-growing environment.

We seek 6+ years of software development experience, expertise in Python or Golang and API-based products, and strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, Docker, and AWS. This is a US-based remote role with competitive compensation and equity.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software development experience building enterprise or consumer products.
• Experience with API-based products using Python, Golang, or similar technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, interpersonal skills, and a sense of humor.
• Familiarity with: RDBMS (PostgreSQL) and ability to write efficient queries; Docker and AWS technologies; fintech/financial services; scrum/agile development.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must live in the United States.

Responsibilities

• You are the owner of one large section of our codebase.
• Lead the technical direction and provide guidance for the team, ensuring alignment with goals and industry practices.
• Design and build a suite of API-based decisioning products.
• Code, test, debug, document, and maintain products and platform using established coding standards.
• Partner with product management to drive agile delivery of existing and new products based on requirements.
• Ensure new software meets quality standards by writing unit, integration and end-to-end tests.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve product issues as they arise.
• Ensure platform and services meet SLA requirements; participate in on-call rotation.
