Job summary

ABB is seeking a procurement professional in the US to lead end-to-end sourcing for plastic materials and molded components. You will coordinate RFQs, POs, and supplier communications while tracking performance to meet cost, quality, and delivery goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 3 or more years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain (manufacturing background preferred).
• Experience with plastics materials or molded components preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with SAP and Power BI is a plus.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and stakeholder coordination abilities.
• Candidates must already have work authorization to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end procurement for thermoset and thermoplastic materials, including RFQs, supplier communications, purchase orders, and delivery issue resolution aligned with sourcing strategies.
• Monitor and manage supplier performance across cost, quality, delivery, and risk, coordinating with Quality and Engineering to resolve operational issues and maintain data.
• Maintain, report and analyze procurement data utilizing Excel, SAP, Power BI, PowerPoint and KPI dashboards to track delivery performance, spend, order fulfillment, and supplier evaluations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, Planning, and Manufacturing while ensuring compliance with ABB procurement policies, systems, and continuous improvement initiatives.
