Job summary

Amrize Building Envelope is seeking an Engineering Technology Lead for Plant Utilities to oversee and optimize critical utility systems across facilities. This senior, full-time, remote role requires independent work, technical leadership, and the ability to develop capital projects with clear ROI.

You’ll ensure OSHA and NFPA 70E compliance, mentor maintenance teams, conduct site audits, and present business cases to senior management. Travel 50-75% and collaboration with EHS are essential.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in engineering/maintenance with heavy plant infrastructure experience.
• Deep knowledge of Arc Flash regulations, NFPA 70E and OSHA standards.
• Experience managing large capital projects ($1M+) and working with external engineering firms.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for plant utilities across facilities.
• Oversee design, maintenance and optimization of water, air, gas, steam, and electrical systems.
• Lead electrical infrastructure strategy and Arc Flash safety programs.
• Audit plant systems to identify gaps and modernization opportunities.
• Develop projects from inception to capital approval and present ROI to senior management.
