Job summary

Kingfisher Recruiting is seeking a safety professional for a large heavy industrial manufacturing facility. The role supports tactical safety direction within an EHS department and reports to the plant EHS Manager.

You will drive continuous improvement of safety processes, develop and implement safety programs, conduct audits, training, and investigations. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of safety experience in manufacturing and a BS degree in a related technical field.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 3 years of safety experience within manufacturing operations.
• Bachelor of Science degree in a related technical field.
• Relocation assistance offered if needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement safety systems and programs, audits, and training.
• Lead accident investigations, workers' compensation, emergency response and related activities.
• Drive continuous improvement of health & safety processes.
• Support environmental compliance initiatives as needed
