Job summary

Austin Allen Company - Professional Recruitment is seeking an Operations Manager for a chemical manufacturing environment in the Memphis area. You will oversee daily operations, ensure production goals, safety, and quality, and lead process improvements across the plant.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in industrial chemical manufacturing, strong leadership, and SAP/CMMS experience. Bachelor's in chemical or related engineering is preferred, with relocation support available.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial engineering preferred.
Minimum of 7 years’ experience in an industrial chemical manufacturing environment
Experience with machines that do blending and filling
Experience in establishing goals and setting expectations for your team
Experience in increasing productivity and eliminating downtown

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure production goals, safety and procedures are met.
Implement and maintain operations processes and procedures, making improvements.
Oversee production, safety and quality in the plant with several direct reports.
