Job summary

CSP (Teijin Automotive Technologies) Huntington, WV seeks a Superintendent to lead a designated area in our automotive plant, driving safe, efficient, and cost-effective daily operations. This role manages production supervisors and hourly team members while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Progressive experience managing production teams and supervising production supervisors or frontline leaders.
• Experience in automotive or Tier 1 supplier manufacturing.
• Experience working in high-volume manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations and operational management principles.
• Understanding of organizational effectiveness and operations management.

Responsibilities

• Promote and lead a culture of safety across all operations.
• Ensure production targets and schedules are achieved while maintaining quality standards.
• Oversee daily operations within the assigned area for safe and efficient production.
• Monitor performance through KPIs and drive improvements.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, quality, and materials teams to resolve operational issues.
• Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and team members.
• Support employee training and development initiatives.
• Drive performance management for supervisor-level personnel.
