Job summary

CSP (Teijin Automotive Technologies) in Huntington, WV, seeks an experienced manufacturing/industrial engineer to lead process sequences for specific product lines and drive continuous improvement. You will coordinate with maintenance, tool & die, production, and quality teams to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with automotive standards.

Ideal candidates have PLC experience and a technical degree, with optional robotics background and strong Windows literacy.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; six years experience may substitute.
• PLCs experience is required.
• Automotive finishing/robotics experience preferred.
• Mechanical and electrical experience with industrial controls is an asset.
• Windows computer literacy is essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the process sequence of operations for a product line in a safe, efficient manner.
• Coordinate with Maintenance and Tool & Die on troubleshooting, downtime reduction, and preventative maintenance.
• Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, Tool & Die and Purchasing on equipment purchases, deliveries and installations.
• Coordinate with Quality Assurance on customer specs and in-process quality control.
• Develop and maintain a process control system to reduce process variables for a line.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing process problems and drive improvements to labor efficiency.
• May be assigned TS-16949 auditor duties.
• Comply with TS-16949 and ISO-14001 requirements.
• Monitor Health & Safety and ISO14001 policies and procedures.
• Support New Product Development activities across multiple documented areas.
• All other duties as assigned.
