Job summary

Constellation Energy is seeking a Plant Mechanic for our Combined Heat and Power facility. You will inspect, maintain, test, and repair plant equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. Equipment includes valves, pumps, blowers, compressors, boilers, exchangers, and related systems.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, coordination with operations, and adherence to safety and cost controls. Overtime may be required to support outages and critical needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical training through trade school or military program.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and basic steam plant knowledge.
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Ability to read safety rules and maintenance instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on plant equipment and assist in outages planning.
• Maintain, repair and inspect plant equipment including valves, pumps, blowers, compressors, boilers, heat exchangers, and accessories.
• Ensure safety compliance and timely delivery of maintenance services while coordinating with Operations.
