Job summary

Constellation Energy is seeking a Plant Mechanic to support our Combined Heat and Power Facility. You will inspect, maintain, test, and repair plant equipment including valves, pumps, blowers, and boilers to ensure reliable operation and safety.

The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, high school diploma, trade-school training, and 5+ years in power plant maintenance or operations. You will work onsite, may need overtime for outages, and collaborate with Operations to ensure continuous

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Trade school or military program training.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of steam plant and combustion turbine operations.
• Proficiency in reading and writing English.
• Experience in power plant maintenance/operations is required (5+ years).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on plant equipment and minor repairs.
• Assist in planning outages and scheduling maintenance work.
• Maintain safety procedures and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Source parts and coordinate with other trades to support maintenance.
• Work overtime for outages and emergency work as needed.
