Job summary

Ingersoll Rand in Mocksville, NC is seeking a hands-on Materials Planning Manager to lead a diverse team across pack assembly, rotary assembly, remanufacturing and machine shop activities. This role focuses on ensuring continuous material flow and on-time delivery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will own material planning, inventory optimization, supplier coordination, and cross-functional collaboration to launch new products and improve planning discipline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; 5+ years of people management in manufacturing.
• 5+ years in manufacturing environments, with materials planning exposure.
• 4+ years using ERP/MRP systems to support planning execution.
• 3+ years Excel skills to analyze planning data.
• Experience leading a diverse supplier base and cross-functional teams.
• APICS CPIM certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead material planning to ensure timely availability for production.
• Own stocking and replenishment strategy for site materials.
• Drive inventory optimization balancing availability and costs.
• Coach and develop the Materials Planning team.
• Use ERP/MRP tools and standard work to improve processes.
• Coordinate cross‑functional supply, launches, and scheduling.
