Job summary

Tyson Foods in Storm Lake, IA seeks an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance activities ensuring cost-effective, timely execution across processing equipment. You will direct and support maintenance supervisors and teams, coordinate with contractors and engineering on equipment changes, and troubleshoot complex issues affecting uptime.

The role requires strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, refrigeration, automation systems and maintenance training processes,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; a combination of related education and experience may be considered.
• Minimum of 5 years of maintenance supervisory experience.
• Basic computer proficiency required.
• Must communicate effectively and provide clear, specific direction.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, refrigeration, automation and maintenance training processes.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and plan cost-effective, timely maintenance activities to support operation of equipment and processes in Maintenance and Refrigeration.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and engineering teams; troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues; manage the maintenance training program and support budgeting, scheduling, parts and assets.
