Job summary

Jobtailor in Oak Ridge, TN is seeking an experienced BIM piping design professional to develop piping systems and equipment layouts using SmartPlant 3D and related BIM tools. Candidates should have 14+ years of BIM plant design experience, chemical process piping, and nuclear piping preferred. U.S.

Local to Oak Ridge, TN preferred with travel considerations

Responsibilities

Develop piping systems and equipment layouts in BIM tools such as SmartPlant 3D
Develop General Equipment Arrangement deliverables
Understand schedules and budgets of the Plant Design and Piping Team
Assist with resolving interferences and developing resolutions
Ensure proper integration with BIM tools such as Intelligent Schematics
Work with Piping Engineering on pipe specifications and stress analysis support locations
Work with Structural Engineering on pipe support designs
Manage model outputs for material lists and reports
Work with Civil Engineering on underground interface connections
Perform field-related work around construction job site equipment and hazardous machinery as required
Use a standard office PC with provided software

Requirements
