Maple Leaf Foods Inc. in Seattle, WA is seeking a Senior Operator to keep production running safely and efficiently. You'll operate and troubleshoot equipment, perform quality checks, and support changeovers while guiding team members on the floor.

Shift details: 5 days per week, 8 hours per shift, around 11:00am starts. Base wage is $25.58 per hour. This role requires strong adherence to GMP/HACCP and continuous improvement mindset.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and support line coordination.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with safety and accuracy.
• Basic computer skills and data entry.
• Commitment to food safety, GMPs, HACCP, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to learn new equipment, including electric pallet jack.
• Preferred: experience operating Multivac packaging systems, slicers, peelers, and metal detectors.
• Preferred: SAP and SAP ECP knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Adhere to GMPs and sanitation/process guidelines and reference SOPs.
• Communicate effectively with operators, maintenance, QA, warehouse, and leadership with safety and PPE.
• Conduct quality checks and metal detector verifications per food safety and GMP standards.
• Identify equipment or process issues, take corrective action, minimize downtime.
• Operate, monitor, troubleshoot equipment including Multivac packaging systems, slicers, peelers, metal detectors; perform setup and changeovers.
• Back up Production Leads and Supervisors by assisting with line coordination and daily production support.
• Support multiple production areas to meet schedules in a fast-paced environment.
• Train and mentor team members on equipment operation, safety, GMPs, and standard work.
• Utilize SAP and SAP ECP to complete production transactions, inventory movements, scanning, and reporting.
• Other duties as assigned.
