Job summary

Venteon is seeking a Senior Plant Analyst for a leading global manufacturing company with facilities in Halstead, Kansas.

The role focuses on providing financial analysis, reporting and recommendations to support operational decisions, managing and driving cost improvements, and leading month-end and year-end closings. Ideal candidates will have a bachelor's in finance/economics/accounting, 5+ years' manufacturing finance experience, SAP proficiency and a solid US GAAP background.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting or related field.
• 5+ years of financial analysis and accounting experience in a manufacturing space.
• Working knowledge of SAP and US GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial analysis, reporting and recommendations to support operational decisions
• Develop and drive actions and financial plans to achieve targets
• Analyst manufacturing performance and provide cost variances to enhance plant profitability
• Lead month-end and year-end closing activities
• Manage and "own" the P&L, balance sheet and cash flow to support all schedules
• Prepare and maintain KPI's
• Monitor Internal Controls
• Perform fixed asset accounting, capitalization reviews, depreciation analysis and fixed asset inventory valuation
• Support the annual budget, forecast and long-range planning process for the plant
