Icon Consultants is seeking an IT Analyst III to support financial and operational planning for the oil and gas sector. The role emphasizes business planning over traditional IT support, working with Anaplan, Pod2, Snowflake, and related analytics tools.

The candidate will collaborate with Planning, Finance, and IT to manage budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning. Strong data integration, SQL, and reporting skills are essential to drive accurate analyses and reliable processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years supporting enterprise financial or operational planning apps (budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning).
• 5+ years in oil & gas industry supporting financial/operational planning or related apps.
• Hands-on administration and model maintenance with Anaplan, Pod2, or Enersight; specify platforms and responsibilities.
• Snowflake and SQL development experience; data loads, reconciliation, and testing.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Anaplan and Pod2, including configurations, models, calculations, rules, hierarchies, workflows, and access.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning cycles with data loads, model updates, and issue resolution.
• Translate business requirements into functional specs; document calculation logic and data requirements.
• Troubleshoot errors, performance issues, and access problems; coordinate with vendors as needed.
• Develop Snowflake SQL queries/views for data prep, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Develop/maintain Streamlit apps using Snowflake data and build Sigma dashboards.
