Role Description:

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Planning Consultant located in Pittsburgh, PA. The Senior Planning Consultant will be responsible for:

• Providing information and technical assistance to clients in regard to different Federal and State programs.
• Calls with municipalities, authorities, councils of government, business owners, developers, and non-profit organizations to discuss their plans and determine financing alternatives to accomplish their plans.
• Supervisory capacity of junior planning staff.
• Monitoring and evaluating projects for compliance with Federal Regulations.
• Preparing periodic status reports, as required or needed by clients.
• Providng grantmanship to clients for Federal and State programs.
• Preparing feasibility reports and market studies.
• Preparing affordable housing studies.
• Performing related duties, as may be assigned.

• Governmental programs for housing, community and economic development.
• Governmental agencies and the process related to economic development, redevelopment, land use, long-range planning, and physical planning/site development.
• Land acquisition, construction, reconstruction, and infrastructure concepts.
• Project management, contract administration, and budget/financial management.
