Zusammenfassung

Galvion Ltd, a global defense technology leader, seeks a Planner/Buyer to coordinate material planning and purchasing to ensure seamless production. You will bridge Production, Quality, R&D, and Master Planning, manage POs in ERP, and drive supplier performance and cost reductions.

Office-based role with on-site presence required five days a week. Candidates should have 5+ years in procurement/planning, an associate degree (bachelor preferred), and ERP experience (Infor/D365).

Qualifikationen

• Associate’s degree required.
• Bachelor’s degree in SCM, Business, Economics, or related field preferred.
• Strong understanding of MRP processes and variables impacting accuracy.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience using ERP software (Infor, D365 a plus).
• Lean manufacturing experience and ISO familiarity are a plus.

Aufgaben

• Plan, purchase, and coordinate materials to support production, maintenance, R&D, and offices.
• Maintain optimal stock levels with Inventory team; prevent shortages/overstock.
• Obtain supplier quotations; negotiate pricing, lead times, payment terms, and freight.
• Identify and negotiate with suppliers for favorable terms and reliable supply.
• Create and manage purchase orders in the ERP system; monitor status.
• Track supplier performance and resolve delivery or quality issues.
• Support supplier development and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Communicate purchasing outcomes to internal customers and stakeholders.
• Reconcile supplier shipments with purchase orders and invoices.
