Job summary

Pall Corporation, a Danaher operating company in DeLand, Florida, seeks an Senior Planner to drive tactical planning for the value stream on-site. You will lead initiatives to improve on-time delivery, reduce backlog, optimize inventory, and cut costs while supporting production goals.

The role requires 2+ years in planning, strong cross-functional communication, and proficiency with ERP systems and Excel. Bachelor's in operations or engineering is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in supply chain or logistics with various suppliers to ensure delivery.
• Ability to read and communicate technical requirements to internal and external departments.
• Solid understanding of demand, supply forecasting, inventory management, and lot restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Create manageable and efficient production plans using Commercial Input and System requirements.
• Lead DMS strategies at Gemba to meet on-time delivery and reduce backlog.
• Identify and troubleshoot material inventory issues and implement countermeasures.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure materials continuity and drive improvements.
• Maintain Available Off Shelf levels and coordinate schedule attainment with production.

Sr. Planner is responsible for tactical planning for assigned value stream. The Senior Planner will lead initiatives to improve customer on-time delivery performance, reduce past due backlog, optimize inventory levels, and reduce total cost & lead-times while ensuring and supporting operational objectives. The Senior Planner will also lead problem solving/root cause investigations for their assigned area. This position reports to the Planning Manager and is part of the Materials Team located in DeLand, Florida and will be an on-site role.

In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To

• Utilize Commercial Input and System requirements to create manageable and efficient production plans.
• Advocating and executing DMS (Danaher materials System) strategies at Gemba, with planning responsibilities that will drive production and other departments to meet on time delivery performance, reduce past due and optimize inventory.
• Identification and troubleshooting of material inventory issues, shortages or excess by gathering and using data to problem-solving and implement countermeasures.
• Work cross functionally with internal departments to ensure materials continuity, drive improvement and lead other initiatives in order to drive maximizing our customer experience.
• Maintain Available Off Shelf levels at a healthy state & work on schedule attainment with production.

The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include

• Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in a planning function
• Experience working in supply chain or logistics with various external and internal suppliers to ensured delivery or completion of materials priorities and expedited if needed.
• Ability to read and communicate technical requirements to internal and external departments.
• Solid understanding of supply chain management principles, including demand & supply forecasting, inventory management, and lot restrictions.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Demonstrated experience in a planning role that supported manufacturing. Capacity planning and setup wheel experience preferred.
• Proficiency using Excel and ERP systems (SAP is a plus)
• Knowledge of lean six sigma and of planning “best practices” including, but not limited to Supplier PULL Systems, Vendor Manage Inventory, Lean Daily Management, and lean improvement events.
• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Operations Management, Supply Chain, or Engineering
