Job summary

Pall Corporation, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Sr. Planner to lead tactical planning for the DeLand, Florida value stream. The role focuses on improving on-time delivery, reducing backlog, optimizing inventory, and reducing total cost and lead-times while supporting operational objectives.

The Senior Planner reports to the Planning Manager, is part of the Materials Team in DeLand, and is an on-site role. Proficiency in Excel and SAP is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in a planning function.
• Experience in supply chain or logistics with multiple suppliers to ensure delivery or completion of materials priorities and expedited as needed.
• Ability to read and communicate technical requirements to internal and external departments.
• Solid understanding of supply chain management principles including demand & supply forecasting, inventory management, and lot restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Commercial Input and System requirements to create manageable and efficient production plans.
• Advocating and executing DMS (Danaher materials System) strategies at Gemba, with planning responsibilities that drive production and other departments to meet on time delivery performance, reduce past due and optimize inventory.
• Identification and troubleshooting of material inventory issues, shortages or excess by gathering and using data to problem-solving and implement countermeasures.
• Work cross functionally with internal departments to ensure materials continuity, drive improvement and lead other initiatives to maximize customer experience.
• Maintain Available Off Shelf levels at a healthy state and work on schedule attainment with production.

Sr. Planner is responsible for tactical planning for assigned value stream. The Senior Planner will lead initiatives to improve customer on-time delivery performance, reduce past due backlog, optimize inventory levels, and reduce total cost & lead-times while ensuring and supporting operational objectives. The Senior Planner will also lead problem solving/root cause investigations for their assigned area.

This position reports to the Planning Manager and is part of the Materials Team located in DeLand, Florida and will be an on-site role.

In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To

The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include

• Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in a planning function
• Experience working in supply chain or logistics with various external and internal suppliers to ensured delivery or completion of materials priorities and expedited if needed.
• Ability to read and communicate technical requirements to internal and external departments.
• Solid understanding of supply chain management principles, including demand & supply forecasting, inventory management, and lot restrictions.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Demonstrated experience in a planning role that supported manufacturing. Capacity planning and setup wheel experience preferred.
• Proficiency using Excel and ERP systems (SAP is a plus)
• Knowledge of lean six sigma and of planning “best practices” including, but not limited to Supplier PULL Systems, Vendor Manage Inventory, Lean Daily Management, and lean improvement events.
• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Operations Management, Supply Chain, or Engineering
