Job summary

Kisner Law, LLC, a plaintiff-side personal injury and workers' compensation firm in Hyattsville, MD, seeks an experienced Associate Attorney to manage a caseload from intake through resolution with a great team.

You'll handle case evaluation, client communication, discovery, depositions, and negotiations with insurance carriers, with real ownership of your files and potential for growth in a growing firm.

Qualifications

• Licensed in Maryland; DC bar admission preferred.
• Plaintiff personal injury or insurance defense experience with trial experience.
• Mid-level to senior attorneys; not an entry-level role; compensation scales with experience.
• Ability to own cases and manage a high-volume caseload independently.
• Comfortable with case management software and AI tools (CasePeer a plus).

Responsibilities

• Case evaluation, client communication, discovery, and depositions.
• Negotiate with insurance carriers and move cases to trial.
• Work directly with the managing attorney with ownership of files.
• Manage a high-volume caseload and use AI tools to improve workflow.
