Job summary

Verizon is seeking an experienced PKI/ IAM operations engineer to manage end-to-end PKI infrastructure, including CAs, RAs, HSMs, and cryptographic tooling. You will bridge client needs with engineering, automate tasks with Python, and support PQC readiness across enterprise environments.

You’ll participate in hybrid work with on-site collaboration and remote partner coordination, while supporting incident response, SLA/KPI management, and secure software delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or four+ years of work experience.
• Six+ years of relevant security ops experience.
• Experience developing AI tools or scripting for PKI/security.
• RESTful API integration and troubleshooting experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Lead PKI vendor platform migration and define end-to-end tests.
• Serve as primary technical contact for enterprise teams and cutovers.
• Handle ticketing and root-cause analysis for client issues.
• Develop AI-driven tooling to automate PKI and PQC workflows.
• Oversee lifecycle PKI infra, including CAs, RAs, and HSMs.
