Job summary

Peyton Resource Group in Dallas seeks a Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) Engineer to support enterprise authentication and encryption initiatives across certificate and key management systems. The position requires 10+ years in IT infrastructure, hands-on PKI, Linux/Windows, and scripting (Python, PowerShell, shell).

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT infrastructure experience with PKI/design/implementation.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Kanban, Scrum).
• Experience with CI/CD and deployment processes.
• Familiarity with cryptographic principles and data protection techniques (key management, masking, tokenization).
• Hands-on with encryption technologies (TLS, PGP, PKI, HSM).
• Knowledge of system vulnerabilities and mitigation, including pentesting.
• Proficiency in Python and shell scripting (KSH, Bash, PowerShell).
• Experience with Linux; Windows Server experience is a plus.
• Clear communicator able to work cross-functionally and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement CA management, AD integration, and platform authentication across Windows and Unix systems.
• Enhance and automate PKI tools and systems for scalability and audit readiness.
• Collaborate with security and infrastructure teams to ensure PKI touchpoint integration and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external encryption and key management standards.
