Job summary

BNY is seeking a Cryptography PKI Engineer to join its Cybersecurity team. The role supports PKI across the enterprise, partners with cross-functional teams, and maintains certificate lifecycles with Venafi and related tooling.

The ideal candidate has a BS in cybersecurity, CISSP and Venafi credentials, 5+ years of PKI experience, and hands-on expertise with HSMs, KMS, cloud PKI, scripting, and automation. Location options include Lake Mary, FL or Pittsburgh, PA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity or related fields.
• CISSP and Venafi Security Administrator certifications.
• 5+ years of large-scale enterprise PKI experience.
• Hands-on with PKI tools: Venafi, HSMs, KMS.
• Experience with cloud-based PKI and certificate automation.

Responsibilities

• Implement and support PKI solutions across the enterprise.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define certificate use cases.
• Integrate certificates with Certificate Lifecycle Management platforms.
• Create architecture, system build, procedures, and documentation.
• Respond to requests from users, Internal Audit, and Regulators regarding PKI.
