Job summary

Akaasa Technologies seeks a Senior PKI Engineer to implement, operate, and maintain enterprise PKI and CLM services in a global, cloud-based environment. The role blends hands-on PKI with automation, cloud infrastructure, app security, and DevSecOps practices.

The ideal candidate has strong PKI administration experience and a background in automating certificate-related processes through APIs, scripting, and IaC, across cloud-native environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in software/security/infrastructure.
• Hands-on PKI/CLM administration experience.
• Strong understanding of certificates, CAs, lifecycle processes, and enterprise PKI operations.
• Experience developing automation using APIs, scripting, and IaC.
• Experience with cloud-native application development and operations.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, cloud compute, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Strong communication skills with cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain enterprise PKI and CLM platforms and services.
• Manage certificate issuance, renewal, revocation, recovery, and lifecycle processes.
• Coordinate CA lifecycle activities, including renewals, migrations, and key ceremonies.
• Develop and automate PKI governance processes using scripts, APIs, and IaC.
• Build and maintain cloud infrastructure supporting PKI services.
• Develop certificate policies, security standards, and governance controls.
• Partner with development and operations to integrate PKI into workflows.
• Support cloud-native environments with CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes.
