Job summary

Rose International is seeking a Senior Piping Mechanical Engineer (CAEPIPE) for Chemical Capital Projects. The role is onsite in Kansas City, MO, temporary (39 months), with a pay rate of $75.00–$85.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Participate as a project team member.
• Assist in the development and review of piping layouts, equipment arrangements, piping specifications, and design packages per codes, standards, and site requirements.
• Assist the lead mechanical engineer in developing project design requirements and assemble estimate information for mechanical/piping discipline.
• Ensure piping designs meet process, operability, maintainability, and safety objectives.
• Assist in project construction/fabrication package development including drawings, vendor data and specifications.
• Assist project commissioning and checkout.
• Assist and provide technical oversight of mechanical and piping contractors.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

• Participate as a project team member.
• Assist in the development and review of piping layouts, equipment arrangements, piping specifications, and design packages in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and site requirements.
• Assist the lead mechanical engineer in the development of project design requirements and assemble estimate information for mechanical / piping discipline
• Ensure piping designs meet process, operability, maintainability, and safety objectives
• Assist in project construction/fabrication package development including drawings, vendor data and specifications.
• Assist project design and closeout documentation per the engineering execution process.
• Assist project commissioning and checkout.
• Assist and provide technical oversight of mechanical and piping contractors.
