Job summary

Pacifico Energy is seeking a Piping Engineer for the Cedar Creek project to govern piping design, stress analysis, and high-pressure systems. You will review isometrics, layouts, and material specs while coordinating with the site team to ensure timely delivery of design deliverables.

Requires 10+ years in piping for power or process plants, knowledge of ASME B31.1/B31.3, and hands-on stress analysis. Bachelor's in mechanical engineering is required, PE registration is a plus.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in piping engineering for power or process plants.
• Working knowledge of ASME B31.1 and B31.3.
• Hands-on pipe stress analysis experience.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam Revu, Procore and AI tools used with human verification.
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.

Responsibilities

• Review piping design, isometrics, layouts and material specifications.
• Assess pipe stress analysis and support design.
• Review fuel gas and high-pressure system design.
• Evaluate piping change requests and field queries.
• Partner with the site team on piping technical questions.
• Track design deliverable status against the schedule.
• Monitor preservation and storage requirements for piping materials.
